This is the order Doug recommends for learning the process. Each step builds on the one before it. Work through them in order, at your own pace, and come back to any step when you need it.
The path starts with risk, then options basics, then reading price, trend, momentum, entries, and a daily routine.
The lesson path
Confirmation, not prediction
This comes first because it sets the rule every later lesson uses: follow price, do not predict it.
Plan the risk in dollars before entry
Your stop, size, and dollar loss are set before any setup is taught. For example, $300 of risk on a $1.50 stop is 200 shares.

What an option is and what it can cost
Before choosing a contract, know that a bought option can lose the full amount you paid. If you pay $2.50 for one contract, the most you can lose is $250. Watch these in order.
Reading the price chart first
Peaks, valleys, higher lows, and lower highs on a clean chart. This is the base for trend and the 3/8 Trap.
Finding the trend with simple indicators
This turns the price reading from step 4 into a trend decision using a few simple tools.
Momentum: the 3/8 Trap
The hold of the 3 EMA above or below the 8 EMA confirms momentum. It only makes sense once the trend is clear.
Two entry triggers: Pullback and Pop Out Of The Box
Confirmation is not an entry. This shows two lower risk ways in after the hold.
Check and routine
The checklist puts steps 1 to 7 on one page. The routine applies it every day and every week.
